The spiritual concept of serpents and scorpions, their lethal threats against purpose driven lives and how to prayerfully defeat them by fire prayers is our focus today.

The devil is known biblically as the serpent in the book of Genesis where he orchestrated the fall of mankind. 

Spiritual serpents are satanic powers employing deception through evil wisdom, while scorpions represent pollutants and poisonous evil powers with enormous capacity for attacks and destruction.

God is not unmindful of the ruthless vigor and deadly consequences of attacks by serpents and scorpions, hence he gave his Children power to engage and defeat them in every confrontation.

The dream world is a conducive platform for the operations of serpents and scorpions, as instances abound where people were bitten in the dreams by serpents and scorpions with physical manifestations leading to either death or permanent disabilities.

In view of the above, the Bible declares in Luke 10:19, as follows: 

• Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 

The power recited above was specifically made available to eliminate the ravaging threats of spiritual serpents and scorpions operating against unsuspecting children of God. 

Benefits of the power in Luke 10:19 are the following: 

• To crush the siege of dark powers whenever they surround God's children 

• To eliminate the enemies challenging the power of God in your life 

• To disgrace and humble proud serpentine spirits and scorpion like adversaries with the confidence of God. 

These prayers are spiritual warfare engagements and enforcement procedure based on the power of God. 

Everyone who desires total victory over this form of wickedness must pray with holy violence, to crush every serpent or scorpion marauding in the spiritual atmosphere around you by fire. 

Prayer Points: 

1. I command the spirit of confusion and division upon the camps and habitations of my adversaries, in the name of Jesus.  

2. Powers! Challenging my joy, peace and prosperity receive the arrows of fire from heaven, in the name of Jesus. 

3. All curses, enchantments and spells working against my life, be nullified by the Blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus. 

4. I command the moon, sun and wind to work against every evil presence in my family, in the name of Jesus. 

5. I break every inherited family curse upon my life by fire, in the name of Jesus. 

6. Let my breakthroughs begin to locate me and attach themselves to me by fire, in the name of Jesus.  

7. Let thy power O Lord miraculously turn my trials to triumphs, in the name of Jesus. 

8. Thou power of God arise by miracles and turn my tests to testimonies, in the name of Jesus. 

9. Serpents and Scorpions working night and day against my life be roasted now, in the name of Jesus. 

10. Fire of God immunize me against every attack by serpents and scorpions, in the name of Jesus. 

11. Every stubborn evil tree standing upon my breakthroughs, be uprooted by fire, in the name of Jesus.

12. By these prayers l claim dumbfounding miracles by fire, in the name of Jesus.
