A Clarion Call To Dr D.K. Olukoya By eldgboye

This is a clarion call to the most respected and disciplined General Overseer of the Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministries, regarding the administrative and Spiritual atmosphere of Midwest Region.  

The focus of this article is the unfortunate developments in the Council of Regions (CoR), Warri axis under the leadership of Pastors Owolabi, the impeccable Aderoju and the incumbent Moses Odunsi. 

Under a normal circumstance where the fear of God and holiness within and without prevail, this ought to be an internal memorandum devoid of public glare and negative commentary.

However, persistent efforts at reaching out to the headquarters online through the international house were rebuffed by a Sister whose official email address is patricialeonster@gmail.com, between 2015 and 2016.  

On the 12 day of January, 2018, pursuant to the hearing of a petition by a branch pastor whose resignation in May, 2017 was occasioned by the futile redeployment process initiated by Pastor Josiah Onyebuchi and allied issues, in order to elevate the branch to a zonal headquarters status at Midwest Region 18. 

At an executive session of the Council of Regions presided over by the impeccable Senior Regional Overseer, Pastor Aderoju, the Council unanimously reinstated the aggrieved branch pastor, without a written documentation. 

However, Pastor Urji of Midwest Region 18 promptly overruled the decision of the Council of Regions with impunity, a decision ratified by late pastor Robert, the vice Chair of the Council. 

All attempts at enforcement of the subsisting decision of the Council remained unsuccessful, necessitating the aggrieved branch pastor’s protest resignation from the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries in July, 2018. 

The incumbent Senior Regional Overseer, Pastor Moses Odunsi is of the view that only the General Overseer could act on the matter for reasons un disclosed. 

The Big Questions Are:

• Should the aggrieved branch pastor resort to civil litigation to enforce the decision of the Council of Regions?

• In the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, is the biblical let your yes be yes inapplicable?  

• Should the aggrieved Pastor just rest his case finally in the Court of Divine Judgment?   

There are several cases of similar nature in our mega Churches, where oppression and suppression of upcoming pastors by Ministerial godfathers are not only rampant but terribly notorious, to make room for their protégés against the Word and the will of God.  

The General Overseers should be personally interested in these ugly developments bracingly sacrificing merits on the altar of mediocrity in the ministry. 

This article is not intended to denigrate the Church or any denomination, rather it is intended to alert the Church on the unnoticed rot and decadence silently encroaching within, that must be collectively uprooted by the General Overseers, perpetrators, victims and every godly child of God.
